Thanks everyone! I hope she doesn’t start crowing but that’s really helpful and cool animals will step up and protect when needed

So ironic that I listened to a podcast today called 'Ologies' - all different topics in sciences ending in -ology - and there was a feature on neuroendocrinology that discussed gender, and they mention that animals can take on roles of the other gender. Go figure!
