I took some better pics today but I can't get them to load for some reason.
The first roosters were sold to be as French Copper Maran(sp?) Rhode Island Red mix obviously I was had.... the hens are black. Anyway what do you think I have. They are a year old. The last rooster is very old and was given by a friend I have no clue what he is.

So I bought Golden Sex link hens the year before. Is the Red Sex Link the same as those. I'v heard those referred to as Red Sex Links, and Red Stars also.

I think it depends on who you ask. Certain hatcheries sell their own version under their own name such as Red Star. Others sell what look to me like the same bird but sell then under different names. Who knows?

Yup. There are literally dozens of these mixes/hybrids. Red over White. Exact makeup? Unknown.

To make thing even more complicated, there are second and third generation mix/mutt/barnyard crosses that look similar but were just bred at a farm or someone's backyard. They are chickens. That's the good part.
