Can a speckled sussex lay a white egg?

That EE is male, 100% definite. My SS lays an almost white egg, quite small, though she's almost 2 yrs old.

Yeah, I have an EE cockerel, who could be that EE's brother. I vote for SS. My SS hen Roxy lays a lite almost white egg.

Sussex are supposed to lay tinted eggs. Probably some birds will lay a slightly darker egg & some a bit lighter.

I would say if it's a creamy white then yes... if it's stark white like a grocery store egg then I don't know.

My speckled Sussex 24 weeks old lays cream-colored eggs.They are very light almost white
