Can African Male Goose find happiness with a Patriot Female need expert advise before I jump in

Miss Mydia, I know that is a possibility and overnight I rethought that and decided not to do the babies. I am suppose be scaling down my operations because I am disabled but I can't help myself. So I will just go with the Pilgrim female and hope they at least become friends or at worst put up with each other. Thanks Terri
I think they will become friends pretty quickly. Please let us know how it goes.

Well I got my girl today and have her in a pen by herself. She is so sad but I told her it was better than becoming dinner which is where she was going in the fall. She has 2 Angel Wings so she is kind of sad looking. When do you think I can put her in with the rest of the crew. They are seperated by a fence right now and dont seem to know the other exsist but I did notice some actions that made me thing the really were paying attention but didnt want anyone to know.

I don't think geese miss much. When you say crew what do you mean? you may want to see how things go tomorrow through the fence and then decide.

My crew is just the one Goose, 6 male ducks, 2 chickens and 3 cats.
A gander and 6 drakes oh my gosh No way would I put that poor girl in with them separate the gander and try those 2 together. Those drakes would gang rape her. Now you need to rehome some of your drakes and get some ducks for the ones you keep. Or just keep the drakes in pen by themselves. Believe me that poor girl wouldn't stand a chance among all that testosterone.

The Duck have never bothered the Geese. The geese just peck the ducks heads so i dont think that will be a problem at all. I have the Drakes seperated because they are so hard on the girl ducks but the never bother the Geese.

Good news also the two Geese were talking this morning.

Very good sign, I just know my drakes if there was a female goose around they would be trying to mate with her. But I'm happy to hear that things are going good so far.

Well I just wanted to update everyone on the Goose. I put here in with him last night and there was lots of talking and I guess she came out the boss. She has pretty much taken over the Barnyard. When i left for work the morning she was chasing a Rooster in circles. So she will be just fine. Thanks Terri
