Can an Easter Egger change colors?

I have an all white Easter Egger that is about 6 months old now. She has been an all white color but now it looks like she is getting kind of a tan/cream coloring around her neck and wings. Can she actually be changing colors?
I know she and my Wyandotte like to take dust baths but it seems like if that was making her color change she would be colored all over and the dirt is a darker color than what she's getting.
The soft downy looking feathers on her back end DO look dirty but that's a different color than what is starting to show around her neck and wings.
This is my first time owning chickens so I'm learning as I go. So far the girls have been a lot of fun :)

They go through a series of mini molts as they go from fuzz-butt chicks to their final, adult plumage and, yes, this often results in a color change.

It's common for many breeds to start out as simple yellow chicks eventually becoming the color the breed is known for. Part of the fun of having them.

Welcome to BYC, Susan. Glad you decided to join our flock. As chickens mature and feather out their colors can definitely change. A diet heavy in corn can also cause the feathers of white birds to turn yellow. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Thank you everyone for your replies!
I'm having so much fun with my girls. I started off with 3 chicks and lost my Barred Rock when she hopped over the fence into the neighbor's yard (his dogs were in the yard then). She was my favorite and almost like a puppy dog with feathers. I ordered another Barred Rock pullet and just got her 2 days ago. She and my other 2 girls are slowly getting used to each other. I have their yard partitioned off for safety. But this new girl is so, so friendly! She is about 4 months old and my other 2 are about 6 months old. Anyhow, she fell asleep in my lap the first night I had her and tonight she tried jumping up into my arms and was quite comfortable sitting on my lap. I got her from Murray McMurray Hatchery and they said their pullets were tame but this little girl is really tame already. I hope she and my other 2 get used to each other pretty soon. Now if my coonhound would just get used to the new bird.....

You're welcome. I'm sorry about the loss of your Barred Rock. It's always sad to lose one of our flock.( I'm glad the new BR pullet is working out so well.)

Your new BR sounds like a real cuddler, so sweet when they are like that.

To give you an example of the way chickens can change color as they mature, here are 2 pictures of my EE:

Tracey was about 2 weeks old in this picture.

This is Tracey fully mature at about 1.5 years old.
