Can an incubator be damaged by cold temps in transit?

I just order a Genesis 1588 Hova Bator last night, and I'm wondering whether the below freezing temps in my area will damage the incubator in any way on its way here. I live in Chicago and its been in the teens, should I be concerned, or am I just being paranoid? Thanks

I think you are fine. Its just the same as any electrical device. People ship phones, computers, etc through the mail in the winter with no problems. I would think it would have to get really cold..like in the -'s to hurt anything like that.

I agree with the above. I had a new oven delivered in sub freezing temps, it works just fine. Same with electronics.

Thats true, I've just had bad luck with incubators so far. I ordered a mini eco in November and after only 1 hatch the thermostat broke, so hopefully this time i'll have a little more luck
