Can anybody help identify what breed of duck I have?

Get what ever breed you like there are many to choose from just don't buy bantam since he looks on the large side.

@Miss Lydia Thanks never knew I could cross with another breed. He is a duck that cross with any kind of breed. He is very progressive

He is Mallard derived as are all domesticated ducks so you can bring home any domesticated females for him. He can even breed with Muscovy but their off spring will be infertile.
About how much does your drake weight?

@Miss Lydia I have not weighed him yet but it cross my Muscovy already and she had some duckings with weird color. Thank you for ur great info.

Why a Mallard? just curious that will be a small duck. But My Muscovy drake was 14-15 lbs and his Muscovy females are 4-6lbs.

I am in Belize City central America a small country and don't have many varieties of duck breed. We only have perkins, muscovy, mallards, Rouen Ducks a person have runners who is not selling so hardly have diff breeds where I am at @Miss Lydia

I understand. Once you get your Mallards [make sure you get more than one to prevent over-mating] And you get ducklings be sure to share pictures. You have Muscovy too?

I have a small Muscovy who is sitting on eggs but the brown male cross her. I will post pic when they hatch. I already know the offspring will be sterile.
