Can anybody tell me the breed of these two chicks I rescued ?

To cut a long story short, these two chicks were going to be used as live snake food so I demanded that they was handed over to me before I fed him to his snake...
If they are two hens then they can join my other hens when they have matured, if they're roo's then I will rehome them but I'm wondering what breed they are. Anybody know?

They may be Black Sex-Links or Black Australorps.

Don't know about the chicks, but you still should have fed him to his snake.... just because!!

I would say possibly black sex link. My australorps don't have any brown on them, just black with white splotchy bellies (my avatar has an Australorp chick in it). If they are sex links though, they're definitely pullets and you've got a couple super layers.

They're probably Black Sex-links, which would make them females. They sure are cute!
