Can anyone give me a home?*He has a new home....*

The owner is also a friend and co-worker and has asked me to help her find him a home, so no problem there. And I will make sure the person who gets him knows he cannot be around poultry.

where in Tennessee are you located? maybe we can figure something out I'm in Tennessee to.

I am in Sevierville. I have a guy coming tomorrow that lives in Morristown (almost an hour away!) He says he wants a buddy for his Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix. He is going to bring his dog make sure they get along.
SO hopefully by tomorrow nite he will have a new home FAR from my chickens!

I love sevierville. The scenery is beautiful up there. Who knew it hid chicken killin' chihuahuas???

Honey, you could not even BEGIN to guess what these woods up here have hiding in them!

If you were closer, I would take him in a minute! My mom loves chi-chi babies! SHe does not have one right now and I think this little guy would be perfect for her. I hope all goes well for the little fella.

Please be very careful about people who respond to ad's on Craiglist. There are people who will take the dog to feed to their snakes, sell to drug/medical testing facilities.

A better option would be to locate a rescue or find someone on www.petfinder.com.

There are alot of bad people out there when "free" pets are posted.

That's why I told him to bring his dog with him when I meet him.
Also< have you ever tried to place a classified ad on PetFinder? (don't get me wrong, I love the shelter ads part of PF)Try it. Within an hour, you will get a dozen responses from people wanting to buy your "Pet" becasue their kids "Pet" died and they want to replace it yadda, yadda, yadda. They are all scams where they will send you a check for the wrong amount and ask you to just send them back the difference. Or they will have "their" shipping agent pick up the "Pet" and then the check will bounce and your "Pet" will be gone who knows where. I posted an ad for a horse a while back and got several responses saying that if I let them buy my "Pet" it would have the best home, be kept indoors and be allowed to sleep in the child's bedroom and go on daily walks. Hmmmm......

I am on petfinder. I posted a message on the forum (sure hope you dont mind) with a pic of the dog and that he is houstrained, good with kids & cats...but kills chickens. I did NOT list anyother info excpet that he is in TN. If someone is interested, I will PM you. I dont want people bothering you.

I am glad that you chose not to kill the dog. Too bad you cant beat some sense into the neighbors! I really dont have time for irresponsible pet owners. I am so sorry about your chickens and I fully understand why you cannot and dont want to keep him. I sure hope "killer" finds a good loving home, like he deserves...with out chickens.
