Please update again when they get a bit older... it will be interesting to see how they turn out! Maybe as they get older the whole Jerry Springer/Maury Povich “who’s my daddy?” Mystery episode will become more clear
Sometimes those lists of breeds from eBay sellers can simply mean "these are the breeds I have running together on my property". The owner may not keep separate breeding pens so it'd be a luck dip what crossbreed you'd get. Lovely looking chickies - enjoy!
I have to agree, that these are probably crosses. My baby brahmas leg fuzz was so thick they looked like they were wearing pants from the moment they were born.
I'd agree that they are probably mixed. I too thought the first two chicks resembled Rhode Island Reds, but feathered legs clearly aren't in their breed Standard. The last chick reminds me a bit of a Blue-laced Red Wyandotte that inherited two blue genes and is actually Splash-laced Red. But the color isn't quite right there either. So maybe it is a Silver or Gold-laced Wyandotte mixed with something.
