Hi it appears that my turkey has been attacked but idk what. But with the swelling being mainly in his face, I believe he was bitten by a snake. If anyone knows how I can help him pls reply.

This just came up the other day on this forum. And I think the owner said they found a copperhead snake close by. Looked the same as yours.

Swelling in the face and head is also a symptom of the severe form of Avian Influenza. Isolate him if you can and contact a veterinarian if he doesn't recover quickly or if other birds become ill or if he exhibits any of the other symptoms.

As snake bite is a consideration, examine closely for any bite marks.

It was confimered that is withholding the bird flu virus. And he will have to be put down.
