Can anyone help us to understand what to expect with Holderread order?

here are the little buggers outside for the first time. And you can see the Golden Cascades a bit better. There's 6 of em in the pic.

. Better Pics of all the ones that look like the golden cascades, individually and together. Are they all Golden Cascades?

I would say some are saxony, because they look alike at least at this age. I think you are just forced to wait for changes in their look. :(

I have a question off topic, what are you keeping them in?

That's what I thought, Some might of been Saxonys because some have different markings on em. And in the pic I have an old plant rim that I use for them to spend time outside. I cover the top with chicken wire wrapped on long pieces of pvc pipes. I bring em back in before night time. The plant rim keeps my ducklings in and my dogs, and older chickens out.

If you got them from Holderread as Golden Cascades they are right. Dark ones are males, lighter ones females. The only duck breed where you can tell sex by color from hatch! Isn't that a great thing? No more waiting and guessing...
This statement is incorrect. I spoke with David Holderread himself and he told me that they only produce auto sexing babies when they mate with other breeds of ducks. I received two GC's in my order one dark and one light and called to confirm if I had a pair. Nope. Just have to wait and see what happens.

Updated photos! I wanted to share the growth and changes taken place in our babies for reference.

This week was the last hatch. I ordered goslings in February. I was told to expect them in May. May 20th I get an email that they were short of goslings and I would get my birds in June. I did not get an email yesterday or today. I sent an email to them and got no reply and when I called the line was busy. I waited for months and it looks like I am getting nothing.

Oh, I hope not! If they said you will get them, I cannot see them changing that. Ours came late too, so be patient and we'll keep our fingers crossed that you get them real soon. ;) Post pictures when you do get them. Best of luck!

I called again today. They had 3 hatch today and they sent me those 3. I was supposed to get 4.
