Can Anyone Help with my Sick Royal Palm?

We recently bought four young RP's and two began to act lethargic, not eating and the runny sulphur diahrrea. We lost one and I was advised by a local poultry breeder to purchase Sulmet (or Sulnet) and begin dosing and to add vitamins. At Tractor Supply, the Sulmet was in the cattle section and $70 a bottle--above my means. So, we purchased an antibiotic for poultry and I began treating the surviving sick one immediately and also adding some red pepper which I read has seemed to help some ailing turkey's as well as vitamins. I have tried force feeding it some starter mixed with yogurt and egg yolks and it is still alive but not recovered and still in danger apparently. Our 14 baby RIR chicks seem to be doing wonderfully well (they are separated from the turkey's) and the other two RP's do not seem to be adversely affected. If this poor one doesn't recover soon, I think I am just prolonging its death. Can anyone offer advice?? Thank you in advance.
