Can anyone help with Pinwheel quilt block directions?

I want to make a basic 12 inch pinwheel quilt block. I can't find directions on one any where. I need to know how big to cut the squares I want only 1 pinwheel per block. Thanks

Hi, if you want a finished 12" block.....made up of 4 pinwheel squares.....you would cut the fabric into 6 7/8" squares and cut once diagonally then pair up the way you want them and sew together...these should finish out at 6 1/2"....sew 4 together for your 12" block.
