I have 13 chicks a couple weeks ago they finally just went outside. No problems at all. I have a coop, bricks around the sides, it has a sliding door, and a slide out tray floor inside coop for easy clean. My husband shut the coop up one night, said they were all up. Next morning one was outside. Door shut. We just assumed he missed it. Last night I shut the door myself and I triple checked they were all up. This morning I go out to let them outside and half of my chicks were already walking around their run. Door shut, everything in place. i can’t see an animal pulling the tray out and letting some fall and then putting the tray back in place bc you have to angle it to get it back on the ledge to get it all the way in
It takes a little bit of weight to do that
And my coop has couple latches to get to the door to let them out
Can anyone please help me I’m very confused and worried
We live on 12 acres outside of town and know most of our neighbors that have never bothered us
