the vietnamese game is one not known to most people outside of asian circles and thus to most of us we'd say its a shamo. there are diferences, but some are very small. I would say go with what the man told you it is.

If it is "Vietnamese" game it would more than likely be a Ganoi gadon. They look very similar to the thai game fowl at this age. Like others have said, if he told you Viet. game, then that is what it is....
