Hi! Both Olivia & Orchid have the same exact comb coming in, and they feathered out REALLY early, which makes me....about 95% certain they are both girls. No roo behavior either (both were ordered as pullets). I'd be really surprised if they were wrong on my only 2 BO's I ordered. When they were younger, I was concerned that they were roos, but the comb seems to have slowed down and isn't red. Our Golden Campine is wayy faster growing in the comb than these two.
They LOVE the ladder roost! Especially coming out of their brooder, they all love to sit on the roost. though it's away from the heat lamps currently so they don't stay too long (still need the warmth bc it's coooold here!).
One of the main reasons I'm not too worried about their gender is due to the fact that they both feathered out really fast. Combared to some "What am I" posts on here that showed older BO's with MUCH less feathering, who turned out to be roos, I am pretty confident they're girls...hope this helps!!
