Those are also pullets. RIR can start laying as early as 4 months your hens are 3.5 months now. Anywhere form 2-4 weeks before a pullet is getting ready to lay will start redden up. I am wondering about my 2 Black Sex links. They were hatched in mid-March. They are just over 20 weeks old and have shown no signs of laying or even going to a nest box. I'm in town so I can't have a rooster much less 2. Am hoping beyond hope that they are pullets. They are really sweet but very skittish around the older hens. I currently have them separated from the older ones because of bullying.RIR pullet
