Can anyone tell if this is a rooster or hen??

So if that's a pullet... the other two are already getting the waddles and comb, and they are turning red....so what about these two??

Those are also pullets. RIR can start laying as early as 4 months your hens are 3.5 months now. Anywhere form 2-4 weeks before a pullet is getting ready to lay will start redden up. RIR hens have more comb and wattles compared to many other breeds as well.

This is my RIR pullet at 13 weeks. Looks pretty much the same as yours. At 14 weeks, cockerels would have narrow pointed saddle feathers coming in and all of the birds pictured have round saddle feathers.

I am wondering about my 2 Black Sex links. They were hatched in mid-March. They are just over 20 weeks old and have shown no signs of laying or even going to a nest box. I'm in town so I can't have a rooster much less 2. Am hoping beyond hope that they are pullets. They are really sweet but very skittish around the older hens. I currently have them separated from the older ones because of bullying.

Both are indeed pullets. Black sex link cockerels will be barred.
