Jeez man, you're right, the thread IS about the color of the chicks.

You've completely did the exact thing that I said that was going to happen. Now I remember why I avoid threads about ameraucanas and EEs.

Sorry to @chicklepoo . I hope someone can help you with your chick color. Best of luck and welcome to Backyard Chickens!

Let's let the OP decide what she has. She came here asking what color her chicks were not to discuss what breed she has. I'm still going to watch this thread to see what color the chicks turn out to be but I have no intention of continuing this argument. You may private message me to continue this argument and try to prove your point if you like.

Sincerely, VP123

Dude I'm not out to prove anything.

Sorry chicklepoo for the argument. It's really just a waiting game on these guys, you never know what to expect when you get them! I'll be following along! Will you keep us updated on their growth?

I guess your right my little chicks are change day by day, now when the lights hit them they look violet, guess we ll all see at once, lol

Somewhere on here there is a thread about EE colors from chick to adult where people posted lots and lots of pics. It's fascinating to watch them change and the only certainty is that you can't be certain! The genetic diversity is just too broad. I will give you my guesses, though, and presuming female on all...

Left to right from the group pic: partridge (like a Partridge Rock), melanized partridge (might be almost entirely black with gold showing through in a pattern), and the third one is the biggest wild card, IMO. But, she could end up very similar to the one in your profile.
