Can anyone tell me what she is?

Ah... You bought an easter egger under the name Americana. Not the breed name of ameraucana. Hoover is one of the hatcheries that sells EE this way, and misleads people into thinking their buying a pure bred bird. I don't know how they get away with it, but they do. Their site outright says that their birds will lay blue, green or brown; which is a sure clue that they're EE.

Thats fine with me! I just like variety. They are just pets to me! I know some people prefer to have olive/easter eggers, ameraucanas and araucanas. I just like the beards like my chicken lemon has!

Here’s her 4 1/2 week update. Still wondering. I’ve been thinking possible Welsummer, Cream Legbar, Olive Egger, or maybe even a Bielefelder... I would love any breed, but I have my finger crossed she’s an Olive. Any new thoughts?

Honestly I got two oliver eggers, a prairie bluebell egger and two ameraucanas and i couldn’t tell the difference without contacting the hatchery i bought them from. Now I can tell them all apart by the color of the legs.

The small chick photo looks just like my welsummer babies. The older one its hard to say. They always look a little scruffy at that age but try to look at the chest feathers. If they have a salmon color to them it is a welsummer. They are wonderful birds. One of my absolute favorites.
