My friend took this picture and we were wondering what it was. Thanks!

I only see the one picture and to me ( a beginner with 14, 3 month old sumatras) I can't see a difference from this picture. Is the comb the only tell tale sign?

tails too short for a sumatra.. and the tails WAY high. sumatras tails are held straight out behind them. some a little higher. others lower. face is too light too. but cant tell by that. sumatras sometimes have light/red faces. Bodys still wrong though. andalusian.. maybe. but they dont look like the pictures i've seen. who knows? possible cross?

might i note. look at the back of her neck. she has some light feathers that look much like. golden/silver duckwing feathers.

I would agree that the tail is a weird angle for the sumatra...if standing still. But mine raise their tail just like that when they hear the rooster speak. Or when being chased by another chick. What is the age of the bird in the picture? I have one youngster that has white baby feathers on it's head still. They are thin and gangly at that age, just like the picture. Again, I'm new at this and can only compare what I have.
