Can baby quail eat insects?

I know my quail love to try to jump up and get mosquitoes so I dont see why they cant eat crickets!

I waited until ours were two weeks old...

Garden grown grasshoppers... All the birds are still alive and well. Two months old now. Enjoy...

Most parasites spend some portion of their life in intermediary hosts like grasshoppers, earth worms, ants, etc. make sure you worm your quail if youre feeding bugs you catch in the yard.

Absolutely, even if you don't feed them bugs. Worming your birds either via medicine or by other means is very important to the longevity of your birds. ;-) -pck
