Can Bantam Ducks free range?

We show cayugas. My daughter has been wanting east indies and now is asking that for a pair for christmas.... I have a large enclosed duck run that we lock our ducks in at night but they free range on a 1/2 acre during the day. Can Bantam ducks free range? Or do I have to make permanent Bantam pens? I do have have tractor pens I built for meat chickens that I planned to use for breeding pens...

I don’t have any banties , but I almost got a couple of call Ducks and I was planning on letting them run around with all my big ducks. I don’t have a lot of wide open space though there’s a lot of trees and bushes and all kinds of other obstacles like swingsets, playhouses chair, chairs, slides, etc. etc..
If it was wide open space, I wouldn’t do it just my opinion

I don’t have bantam also.
But are there any big ducks that loves and stays with the bantams. I have bantam chickens but I always pair them up with 2 or 3 bid chickens so that they can protect the bantams.
