I have been feeding my chickens bread that we weren't eating. It was a sweet, dark, whole grain bread. I have noticed some chickens having a pale colored diarrhea.
I have never seen this before and I haven't changed anything in their diet or introduced new chickens. Just been feeding them bread.

I've been feeding bread for years now never had a problem
I have a friend who runs a bakery and gives me a lot of left over for free

Make sure you are feeding your hen the right foods. Chocolate, large servings of meat, raw potato skins, citrus fruits, bones, avocado skins and pits, spoiled meat and long-cut grass can all cause digestive problems in chickens.

If it was sweetened with molasses then there is your problem.
Too much molasses can give most any livestock diarrhea if given too much at one time.
