can chickens and goats cross contaminate?

i am considering allowing my chickens and goats to use the same run. the chickens would have access to the goats straw. i am wondering if there is a potential for illness

I don't know if it is bad for them or not, but I will say my goats were only interested in eating the chickens food. And the amount of poop was out of control!
