Can chickens drink too much at once? XP

I forgot to check the chicken water this morning, and when I got home it was empty. They are all super thirsty. I let them drink for a few minutes, and then I started wondering if they could drink too much at once. Is this something that I need to worry about? I currently have the water back out while I wait for a response. Can I put it back in or should I give them a break to digest what they have and then put it back in? When I picked a couple of them up, the water just ran out of their beaks.... I'm such a bad chicken farmer, and I feel like I always make mistakes! :(

I wouldn't worry about it. I'd rather see them hydrated before they go to bed. That might take a few trips to the waterer. If it's suddenly hot, I would give them a large pan of water to stand in and cool off. I have kitty litter pans.

Thanks, I didn't know if they could potentially over drink if they had too much at once. They are 2 weeks old, and they are in my basement so it isn't too hot. It is probably only about 60 down there.
