can chickens eat citrus

can chickens eat any kind of citrus fruit, grapefruit, lemons, lime? although i'd be surprised if they would like a lemon

Mine have ate orange slices left over from my daughter's breakfast.

But I am pretty sure mine will eat anything if they think another will get to it first

I have heard the acidic nature of citrus fruit will cause them to stop laying, but I don't think it will hurt them.

I don't think that it will make them stop laying.
They put citrus acid in the electro acids and people give Apple Cider Vinegar to there chickens..

I'm sure it was on the don't feed list of chicken treats. but I don't think it gave a reason why they shouldn't. Mine have had small amounts and it didn't hurt them that I could tell?
