Can Chickens Eat Dairy Products?

Mine love yogurt.

They love string cheese, too. I tear it into thin strips - enough so each of my 10 has a chance to get something - and toss it their way. There is usually a piece or two left over and it's hilarious to watch them chase up and down the run after whoever got the last one. Usually they will drop it - or have it stolen from their beak - before they can get to a safe space to swallow it down, and another will pick it up and run in the opposite direction. It's almost like watching a football game
