Can chickens eat garlic seed?

I collected some garlic seed last fall from garlic plants. Can this be fed to my chooks?

Cutting it up and adding it to their water is a good electrolyte. 2-3 cloves per gallon. A little bit of honey is great too. Just make sure not to give it as their only source of water. I am pretty sure they can eat it though.
