Can chickens eat lasagna?

Hey everyone. I'm brand new to this whole "chicken raisin' thing" and am still trying to figure out what they can and can't eat. While lasagna is something that we rarely would ever throw away (its so good leftover), this wasn't the tastiest lasagna in the world (mother-in-law's cookin'). Anyone know if it's okay to let the chickens chow down? Thanks a lot!

they will love it. they can eat just about any people food, there is a thread on here that tells what they can't eat but it's not a long list

They sure can! You will see a very happy chicken dance! You can feed them most anything. It's when any one things becomes the largest portion of their diet you see problems. Example- citrus. I had been told that it was toxic. I refrained from feeding them it for years. One day I decided to actually find truth in some of these toxic items through reading university papers. Turns out, if fed in very high volumes (as experimented with in controlled environments) it causes a multitude of issues. Same with raw potato skins. I have fed both now many times without an issue. Have fun!

I have a cat who LOVES raisins. I looked up "cats raisins" and I got a load of : DON'T FEED YOUR CATS RAISINS IT WILL KILL THEM!!!!!!...internet belarky..truth is, my cat would have to eat over an ounce of raisins at one time for it to be "toxic"

Yes...once in awhile when my son eats raisins..he throws a couple to the cat!

Nature is smart..they will usually not eat what they are not supposed to..and guess what? If they eat something they shouldn't have..and die..nature has a way of eliminating the stupid and the weak which is NOT good for genetics. Nature knows!
