Can chickens eat this?

It's made for rabbits. About $4 at Wal-Mart. I was trying to find a way to supplement with herbs but no-one here locally sells them.
I think it should be safe for chickens, and they will probably enjoy scratching through it and eating bits. But they will not eat all of it the way a rabbit would.

They could probably have just as much fun scratching through some much cheaper hay or straw, or dead leaves when fall comes.

Depending on which herbs you want, it might be cheaper to just buy ones meant for people, and sprinkle out a pinch at a time for the chickens. Some stores will sell herbs by weight, whatever amount you choose to dump into a bag, which is usually cheaper than buying little glass jars of each one. "Organic" and "health food" stores seem to be good places to look for herbs that way.

I can say yes that chickens will eat that. Because I bought the same thing at my local Walmart too! They love it and it is a nice little treat. I don’t give the whole thing I give just a hand full. Only the one I bought is not as “straw” looking?
It’s more broken down. Still whole flowers and stuff. But not lots of hay like pieces. Those are all small no longer than a quarter mostly.
So I would say yes, it’s okay to feed and mine eat it and really like it.
