I spread some unsulfured molasses on my lawn and didn't finish what was in the spreader and forgot to empty it. Then it rained... a couple of times. Now, my spreader is FULL of the molasses, water, and millions of black soldier fly larvae. My chickens LOVE BSFL. Would it hurt them to ingest some of the molasses? I'd kind of like to throw the whole lot in their coop...

Many thanks!

It might be a bad idea, molasses is used to clean out chicken's digestive systems if they have ingested poisons.

I'm curious --what does unsulfured molasses do for lawns?
