Aspirin or meloxicam helps with arthritis, although she may have other problems too. She needs to be eating, and not have problems taking the NSAID if you give it to her.

From what you described I doubt it’s water belly.Near her bum feels normal, the fluffy feathers and it's soft and squishy like a chicken bum. I can feel her bones between her legs is and up towards her crop. It doesn't seem squishy or water-like.
She was preening and seems more alert and is willing to walk more, so I took that as a good sign.
I hope she doesn't have water belly. I've heard bad things...
