Can chickens have beef liver?

My hens are going through a really hard molt right now, and I was wondering if I could give them some beef liver that I have that I will not eat? Should I cook it? Chop it up? Throw it in whole? Raw or cooked?

I would cook it, cool it, and cut it into small pieces before giving it to them.

If they eat it fast raw is fine. If you do cook it, lightly cook at a lore temperature. That will preserve the nutrients.
