CAN CHICKENS SNEEZ???

do chickens sneez? i just started feeding them the crumbles and now i am noticing them rubbing the beak on the ground from side to side and making a verry high pitched bah-cock noise

Yes, they sneeze. Dust, maybe?

Yes, chickens do indeed sneeze. Just be sure they have no other symptoms (gurgling, wheezing, runny noses, etc). Sneezes by themself are normal (they can get allergies too!), but coupled with other symptoms usually means your birds have a respiratory illness.

no no other symptoms... just the sneezles, and they did come after they had their beaks in the crumbles
