Can chicks stand and walk right after birth?

I have achick that hatched today and it's so cute!It's eyes are open and it's peeping and stuff he just can't walk. Is that normal? It's legs look fully developed and functional.

They tend to rest alot the first day or so. Is it all fluffed out and dried? Mine tend to lay there until they are and usually won't be up and hopping around until the second day. Good luck!

ok thanks! Yeah it's fluffed up! It's reallly light yellow with a little black on it's head. It was peeping alot as well
