can chicks use a quil waterer

I need to know if stanerd size chicks can use the quil water base

Yes, they're fine with it. I have a mixed batch of quail and chicks right now and they all use the quail waterer.

If that is the one that the mason jars fit on, that is what I use. I'm thinking of switching to small animal waterers though to reduce the amount of times I have to replace the water becasue they made a mess in it.

Actually, they work better to start with because the chicks can't really drown themselves easily. You don't have to add marbles either!
