Can combs help determine sex?

These all came from the same place and time. Supposed to be Golden Laced Wyandottes. My question is: can you tell the sex by the comb at 3 weeks old?? Pictures are for reference of the two types of combs I have in the 7 chick crew. I have noticed that the flatter wider combs vary between pink/red color or black/brown. Im assuming red = rooster? Usually it's too early at 3 weeks, but I have to say..that's looking like a little dude.

I agree with @Cynthia12, looks like a boy. It could be a girl, though. What a cutie!

I would say a boy, but Im terrible at guessing Roos. But he or she is super adorable. Makes me want a new chick LOL
