Can Coturnix quail be kept with Red Golden Pheasants

My new pens have metal siding all the way around them up to 26" then welded wire till the top- the top is PE netting, the back of each pen is enclosed on 3 sides- there are bushes, grasses, branches and pcs of 3" and 4" PVC about along with straw bunches here and there- is there any reason I could not keep a trio of quail with the pheasants?

You take your chances when you keep quail with larger birds. The pheasants could hurt the small quail. But not always. However there is no health risks in keeping these two together as they are both of the same family.

Thanks- my thoughts are that I would put young birds in together and since the space is fairly large- 6' tall, 6' wide and 16' long, 6 birds should have enough space to get along...

I picked up my Quail today!! I have 2 trios, the gentleman said one trio was tux and the others, I don't recall ( they are good bit lighter in color though). They are such docil little birds and I can see why folks love them...
