can drakes raise ducklings? im very interested.

They will help protect them sometimes,but most of the time no,but roosters have been known to adopt chicks,the male of geese species will however adopt goslings and ducklings

My black pied muscovy drake does, but all my mallard types seem to like if they can't mate with it, and the mommies won't let them chase and try to mate the ducklings then ducklings don't exist. Young drakes can be outright dangerous to them.
