Can ducks be with chickens and rosters?

Perhaps if you drew a picture for animal export, it might help?

I've found AE's responses to posts counter their preconceptions to be "less than receptive", shall we say. Self proclaimed status as "export" or not.

/edit and English as a second (or third) language was pretty obvious. Respect for that at least, but not for knowledge of poultry.
OMG, laughed until I spit out my coffee. Made my morning, after some of these silly remarks from Exports!!!

If they are anything like our ducks, they are little angels and butter wouldn't melt in their mouths until you stop looking. Then all bets are off.

I'm willing to believe that chickens are the same.

I keep my ducks with my chickens and rooster. They hardly even acknowledge that the other exists. We have one duckling (God only knows what Dab Dab did with the other 3) due in a few days and the duck hatching isn't bothered by the hens going in and out of the nest boxes over her head. The only thing I consider to be a bit of a problem is chickens drinking out of the dirty duck pool.

1. That is an opinion, not a fact, 2. it depends on the personalities and temperaments of the ducks and chickens, as well their age and the space and circumstances of their living.
Breeds may play a role in that too. And sometimes people don't have the materials and the space to have them sperated.
