Can ducks eat cat food ?

I’ve been having troubles getting my hen to lay eggs this winter!ive been reading on it and people say you can feed them cat food and it gives them extra protein and they’ll start laying eggs again? If anyone knows anything about this id appreciate your input

They can eat cat food in moderation as a treat, but what they really need is a good layer pellet or layer crumble and free choice oyster shell on the side.

Egg production naturally decreases as the hours of daylight each day decrease. Put a light in the coop if you want to heighten egg production.

Putting a light on a timer in the coop to add more hours of light will help them lay eggs.

all the time. Unless it’s a really nice day. And their coop is all windows so they get all the sunlight.
