Hey guys!
I'm asking a question for a friend of mine. She's Vegan and doesn't eat her duck eggs, she has A LOT of eggs, to many to give away. She doesn't mind cooking them to feed back to the her ducks, and would prefer to do that, but she wants to make sure she wont feed them to many. Can to many eggs be bad for ducks? If its not a good idea, other ways to use a whole lot of eggs is very helpful. Thanks!

Does she have any other pets? I also don't eat my ducks' eggs. But my dog loves them.

Unfortunately, I end up composting a lot of them and grow tomatoes with the compost - my ducks favorite treat.

I give some to friends, and one friend makes lemon curd with them. I think it takes a lot of yolk.

She is getting a dog soon, so she can give them to the pup eventually. That may be closer to the end of, or mid summer though.
Compost is a good idea, I will definitely tell her that, thank you!

Ps. I love lemon curd! I make custard or curd whenever I have leftover eggs, yum! 😋
