Can ducks share a coop with chickens?

One of my friends has a duck in with her chickens. She's never said anything about problems.

If I got three female pekins and put them in the chickens' coop, would they get along?

After 3 yrs of having my ducks and hens share a coop I finally got a side shelter put together for my ducks with a secure door to lock them in safe at night. The horrid mess the ducks make is a huge bother. With them separate in a shelter designed to deal with goopy duck poop life is easier and cleaner for everyone.

We have 9 Khaki Campbells living in with about 30 mixed types of chickens and there is no problems. If there is a ruckus going on it is either ducks picking on ducks or chickens picking on chickens. They also share the same coop at night with no real problems. The chickens head to the rafters and the ducks find a corner and lay down. All is well...... so far.
