Hello,
My silkie has not laid an egg in over 2 months, and has produced purely LIME green feces (with a veryy strong odor) for about a month and a half. Most of it is slimy guck, there is very little actual substance. It took a few weeks but she is eating and behaving almost normally now, however her feces are not.
Is it possible that she has Egg Peritonitis? Except it doesn't appear to be building up inside her, I see no swelling? She is producing about half a cup a day of this green stuff.
I live in the city, do you think a regular avian vet would be able to treat her? Perhaps it's a bacterial infection?
Thanks,
Chrsitina
