can eye color change with age?

Hi, I just got some Bantam Salmon Faverolles and the person I got them from said they are show quality birds. The birds are 6 weeks. I also got some different ones from another person. They all have slate blue eyes. The standard says reddish bay. Can or will the eye color change?

Yes, eye color will change. My OEGBs will have dark eyes as chicks and they change to bright orange. I can't guarantee it will happen for yous, but it is definitely possible.
