Can fertile eggs and newly hatched squabs carry viruses?

still studying this one.....

I was thinking if I were to get some fertile eggs off a different person (That will probably never happen), and their birds are immune to more things mine are. Are my birds at a higher risk of catching something from those squabs.

Hypothetically then, as long as the eggs are clean of visible debris and you have foster parents to raise them I don't see a problem.

I wouldn't really worry about it. The only thing I am aware of is with salmonella/paratyphoid. It can cause infertile eggs, young which die in the egg, and also young which die soon after hatching. Whether or not it can transfer to the parents though? I don't really know, but I doubt it.
