Can French Guineas reproduce naturally?

Our male Guinea has fathered at least 3 babies with another Guinea. They were hatched by chickens because Guineas haven't turned out to be the most experienced of Moms -- we had 5 females crowding themselves onto a clutch of about 20 eggs and they crushed 2 of the young hatchlings. They were fiercely protective of the eggs however. We've built a candler and now have an incubator so were hoping for better results.

Interesting... I thought Guineas were monogamous... 1 Male / 1 Female.
