Can Gapeworm also cause sneezing?

I would like to know what happened as well. I am going through this with one of my chickens. It is day 6 of her gasping for air. She is on dewormer, anti fungal, antibiotic and antifungal.

I'm sorry for the slow reply. Sadly Vanessa was put to sleep by a vet a few weeks after I started this post - I expect she had internal issues which we couldn't solve.

I know this is really old but just for anyone who's reading this looking for answers. If your chicken appears for be red and swollen under her vent and is gasping for air, its likely ascites. The typically treatment is going to be invasive draining of fluid. My vet actually prescribed Lasix (yes. The human medication thats a diaretic) for my hens. I gave it to her once or twice a day depending on the heat and her condition tbat day. Gave me 8 more months with my girl and never had to deal with manually draining the build. The prescription was only 20 dollars for a month supply. It's a great option.
